Pact Tournament

Time for a new tournament students, and look who's back with flesh on his bones this time

Gaul is taking charge of this event, and is offering a temporary pact to everyone taking part.

All participants will have their powers raised to a level they currently can't reach for the duration of the tournament, in return for something important to them.

You can make Gaul an offer of what you're willing to trade with him if you wish, but be aware that the pact won't necessarily take you up on it.

The tournament is student vs student, and as the overseer, Gaul will be watching every match. If things get too nasty, or if an increase in power will make your character more likely to go out of control, he will break up the fight before it gets too violent and judge the match based on what happened before things got out of hand. He will also return any students who have surpassed their limits back to their senses, so they can continue to the next battle fine if they win.

He will also heal all the proceeding students after every match so they don't have to start another match while injured.

Pets and guardians are allowed, but bare in mind that they could be injured, and that your guardians will remain as they are and will not level up as you do.

Gaul will transport all participants to the field after signing up is over. References for the environments I'm currently working on.

Once the tournament is over, the price you paid will be returned to you and your powers will return to normal.

Even if you are eliminated from the tournament, the pact will still be in place until everyone else is finished.

Drawing your character signing up is optional. However, since there will likely be some unseen powers being used, participants are asked to draw some sketches, or more detailed drawings if you wish, of any new abilities to help other students get an idea of what you're capable of.

The closing date for signing up is currently set at 1st August, but this may be subject to change. Additional dates will be set after that time.

Side note: I'll have reference drawings of Gaul up soon. I know he's pretty complicated to draw so I don't want to leave anyone hanging with how the rest of him looks
